"While on our travels to Townsville from Goolwa in South Australia we suffered damage to our caravan in the form of damage to the van’s awning. Once in Townsville we found Roadking Caravans owned and operated by Bob and Kaye Black. Once we explained our problem they were only too happy to look at the damage and provide a quote for repairs to our insurance company. They visited us onsite in the van park for both the quote and repairs. Both the quote and repairs were carried out in a friendly professional timely manner. I cannot speak highly enough of the workmanship and professional attitude to his work by Bob. One thing that makes these people set you at ease about your dilemma and need for repairs is that they actually own a caravan and like the rest of us travel the road often enough to know what is needed. Bob and Kaye are both very friendly whilst maintaining professionalism during the time of the repairs and any after service enquiries. Both Shirley and I would not hesitate to recommend Bob and Kaye to anyone needing repairs to their van if trouble strikes within their area. So check their website out."

"We have all our insurance covers with G.I.O. and though we have not made a claim on house, car, etc. we have unfortunately had 2 claims on our caravan in the past 2 years. Both times we have had our claims handled pleasantly and professionally. Our first repair (hail damage) was done by Ballina R.V. and the job was OK. Our second repair was done by Road King Caravans of Townsville. We were impressed with the quality of workmanship, they also kept us informed on how the job was going and made sure our caravan was returned to us on the date specified. We would like to thank the staff at G.I.O. who handled our claim M0006287797 and Road King Caravans. We do a lot of travelling and will recommend both companies when talk of insurance comes up (as it does a lot in caravan parks)."

The job was finished well inside the timeline, and taking into account Townsville’s remoteness from the Regent factory, that really is remarkable. Thanks also for the great work on installing the UHF, and the rear cameras on the van and the Nissan early this year – top job. They haven’t missed a beat and I don’t know how we managed without them. It was a pleasant and unexpected surprise to meet up with you both at Julia Creek Caravan Park last month.
